For oral presentations
The Conference computers in the technical session rooms and amphitheatre are being supplied with Office 2016 and PDF Viewer (MS-Windows operating system). The projectors support Full HD format (16:9, 1920×1080 pixels).
To make sure you take advantage of the projector’s full resolution, i.e. use of the entire screen surface and sharp images, it is recommended to prepare your PowerPoint slideshow using the supplied pptx template instead of the default PowerPoint setting. (In this pptx template, the Slide Size is 50.606 x 28.504 cm or 19.685 x 11.222 inches. This size is specially adapted to the projection at the Palais des Congrès of Bordeaux.)
If you have images or videos in the presentation, please insert them in the presentation file; do not use links. Only fonts included in the basic installation of MS-Windows are available.
You will not be able to use your own laptop computer during the sessions for their presentation. You will need to bring your PowerPoint (or PDF) presentation on USB Memory stick and load it on the Conference computer of your technical session room during a break before a previous session. Please also report to your session chair before the session begins. When your session is over, your presentation will be deleted; no copies or backups will be made.
The total time allocated for oral presentations is exactly 20 minutes (30 minutes for Keynotes) including questions and discussion.
As the schedule is very tight, it is important to scrupulously respect the time allotted to each presentation. Therefore, please do not exceed 16 minutes for your presentation (24 minutes for a Keynote presentation) to allow for discussion and the transition to the next speaker. Strict compliance with the schedule is essential to the success of the conference and we rely on you.
